For a nice change to the heel rearrange the stitches: Slip 4 stitches from dpn 2 to dpn 1 and from dpn 4 to dpn 3. Work a heel flap over 32 stitches of dpn 4 and dpn 1 and work stitches as they appear over 32 rows. For the turn of the heel knit sts of dpn 4, knit 1, ssk, knit 1, turn, slip 1, purl 3, pur together 2, purl 1, turn, slip 1, knit 4, ssk, knit 1, tun, slip 1, purl 5, purl together 2, purl 1, turn, (...) Continue in this way untilallstitches of dpn 4 and dpn 1 are gone $\circledast$ Now it goes in rounds again. Pick up 16 new stitches out of each side of the heel and work in this pattern arrangement: Dpn 1: knit 16 sts, work 9 sts in cuff pattern, Dpn $^{2+3}$ : repeat round 1 of main pattern, Dpn 4: work 9 sts in cuff pattern and 16 sts in stockinette stitch For the gusset decrease 1 stitch on dpn 1 and dpn 4 each $3^{\mathsf{r d}}$ round: On dpn 1 slip $16^{11}$ stitch and knit together with the following gusset stitch. On dpn 4 knit together the first stockinette stitch and the last stitch worked in cuff pattern $(9^{\mathrm{th}}$ and $10^{\mathrm{th}}$ sts in $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ decreasing round) Continue the decrease in this way until all gusset stitches are used up. Knit together $2^{\mathsf{n d}}$ and $3^{\mathsf{r d}}$ last stitch of dpn 1 and dpn 3 and ssk $2^{\mathsf{n d}}$ and $3^{\mathsf{r d}}$ stitch of dpn 2 and dpn 4. For a round toe shaping use the following decreasing scheme: 1x each 4th round, 3x each 3rd round, 3x each 2nd round and 6x each round after the first decreasing round. Pull together the last 8 stitches.
