One size Finished measurements: Length: 12" Width: 5" MATERIALS: Sassy Skein Key West Karibbean Kotton -worsted weight 100% Mercerized Cotton Color A: 204 Green Parrot 2 skeins Color B 232 Key Lime 1 skein Knitting needle size 7 Small Eyed Tapestry Needle Medium Crochet Hook GAUGE: 18 Stitches and 24 Rows = 4" TO SAVE TIME CHECK YOUR GAUGE!!
Mitt:
In Color A, cast on (CO) 42 sts. Work in K2, P2 ribbing for 20 rows. After ribbing is complete, begin work on mitt body. Continue with your size 7 needle and Color A, with RS facing you, knit across row increasing 1 st in every 3rd st =56 sts on needle. Continue working in garter stitch until piece measures 12". BO all sts.
Lizzie Loops:
Using Color B create loops (like these pictured) on the top 2/3rds of front half of your mitt. After you have completed these loops assemble mitt.
FINISHING:
Fold mitt in half with Rs together. Sew top seam and open side seam together. Weave in any yarn tail to WS and clip close to Ws. Turn project RS out. Have fun cleaning up or washing your favorite car. When you are done, just throw your mitt in the washer and dryer!
