Christmas Bells

Any double knit yarn in two colours of your choice Needles: 4mm Tapestry needle Jingle bells/beads/pom poms - optional

K - knit, P - purl K2tgtbl - knit 2 stitches together through the back loop P2tg - purl 2 stitches together st or sts - stitch or stitches co - cast on, BO - bind off St-st - stockinet stitch RS/WS - right side/wrong side of the work Size: about 1.25" without the loop In colour A C0 15 sts Work 3 rows in st-st starting with P row Change to B Work 6 rows in st-st starting with P row [P3, P2tg] 3 times 12sts [K2tgtbl, K2] 3 times 9sts Cut yarn and pull the yarn end through the remaining stitches. Sew the seam using the ends from Cast on. Attach a loop for hanging the bell. I used a 20cm long yarn, from the WS of my bell, put the needle with yarn through one sts closest to the middle, then pull yarn through the middle to the right side, then back inside to Wrong side - creating a loop, then under the stitch on the WS on the opposite side and then tie both ends together in the middle, inside the bell. You can attach your jingle bell/bead or pompom to those ends if you want).
