Elegant Bow
Using white yarn or color desired and H hook or hook used to obtain gauge. Note: Chain 2 at the beginning of the ROW does NOT count as a stitch. ROW 1: CH 13, in 2"d ch from hook DC, DC across, turn (11 DC) ROW 2-28: CH 2, DC in each ST across, turn (11 DC) Assembly/Finish: At the end of ROW 28 turn and SL ST along the top of the bow, fasten off and leave a tail for whip stitching the ends together. Whip stitch the ends together. Join yarn to bottom of bow near seam and SL ST around, Fasten off and leave a tail for “scrunching the bow'. Make sure when you crunch the bow that the seam is in the back and middle of the bow so it becomes hidden. "Scrunch the bow" - weave the yarn through both layers of the bow in the center( See photo). Once you reach the end pull yarn to create the scrunch and stitch back towards the bottom of the bow to secure. Then securely attach the button to the center and weave in all ends. Finish by sewing or hot gluing to alligator clip or headband. This bow can also be attached st a pony tail holder or hat. The possibilities are endless.
