Vanna's Choice Solids and Heathers BlueBell: 3 yards (2 g) White: 35 yards (20 g) Sweet Pea: 6 yards (4 g) Purple: 30 yards (15 g) Hook-5.5 mm or US I Stitches Ch3Vst: (dc, ch 3, dc) in same st Round 1) Using Bluebell, Adjustable loop 16 dc; tighten Adjustable loop and fasten off. (or ch 5, join in circle, ch 3 as dc, 15 dc in circle; join with a sl st in first ch-3; fasten off Bluebell) (16 dc) Round 2) Join White with a sl st in any dc, ch 3 as dc, ch 3 (or just ch 6 and be done with it...), dc into same st as join, [ch 3, sk dc, Ch3Vst] x 7; join with a 3 sl st in first ch-3 (or 3"d ch of beg ch-6). [8 Ch3Vst; 8 ch-3 sp] Round 3) Continue with White, sl st into next ch-3 sp, ch 1 and sc into same sp, 2 more sc in same ch-3 sp, [2 sc into next V st ch-3 sp, 3 sc into ch-3 sp between dc] x 7, work final 2 sc into last ch-3 sp; join with a sl st in first sc; fasten off White. (40 sc) Round 4) Join Sweet Pea with a sc in any middle sc of a 3 sc set. Ch 3 as dc, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st as join, [ch 4, sk 4 st, sc in next, ch 4, sk 4 sc\*\*, corner as (2 dc, ch-2, 2 dc) in next st] x 4, work to \*\* only on 4" rep; join with a sl st in top of beg ch-3; fasten off Sweet Pea. (4 corners, 8 ch-4 sp, 4 sc) Round 5) Join Purple with a sc in any corner ch-2 sp, 2 sc in same sp, [sc in next 2 dc, 4 sc in ch-4, sc in sc, 4 sc in ch-4, sc in next 2 dc, 3 sc in corner] x 4, omit corner on last rep; sl st in first sc. (64 sc) Round 6) Continue with Purple, ch 3 as first dc, [corner as (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next st), dc in next 15 sc] x 3, work last side as 'dc in next 14 sc' after corner; join with a sl st in first ch-3. [76 dc, 4 ch-2 sp) Round 7) Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 2 dc, [corner as (2 dc, ch-2, 2 dc) in next dc), sc in next 19 dc] x 3, work a last side as'sc in next 16 dc' after corner; join with sl st in first sc; fasten off Purple.
