By Lisa Santoni Cromar PATTERN Cast on 288 stitches with color A (red) Row 1 - sl2, kf&b, knit to last two sts, p2 Row 2 - sl2, k2tog, knit to last two sts, p2 Row 3 - sl2, kf&b, knit to last two sts, p2 Row 4 - sl2, k2tog, knit to last two sts, p2 Row 5 - sl2, kf&b, knit to last two sts, p2 Row 6 - sl2, p2tog, purl to end NOTE: You will slip the first two stitches (as if to knit), and purl the last two stitches of every single row. Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have four inches of color A (red). Change to color B (orange) Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have four inches of color B (orange) Change to color C (yellow) Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have four inches of color C (yellow). Change to color D (green) Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have four inches of color D (green). Change to color E (blue) Repeat rows 5 and 6 until you have four inches of color E (blue). At the beginning of a right side row, cast 3 sts onto your left hand needle. \*Knit 2 stitches, k2tog, slip the resulting three stitches back to your left-hand needle\* Repeat \* to \* until you have only three stitches left. Bind off as usual FINISHING Weave in ends. Lisa Cromar has been knitting for 40 years and designing for herself & others for the last 10.
