Happy Fly - Free Crochet Pattern
Material
· 4mm / G/6 crochet hook or size to match yarn · black yarn ·white felt · black pipe cleaner ·safety eyes ·stuffing

Body
Rd1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts) Rd2: \*2 sc in next stitch\* repeat 5 more times (12 sts) Rd3: \*sc in next stitch, 2sc in next stitch\* repeat 5 more times (18 sts) Rd4: \*sc in next two sts , 2sc in next stitch\* repeat 5 more times (24 sts) Rd5: \*sc in next three sts , 2sc in next stitch \* repeat 5 more times (30 sts) Rd6: \*sc in next four sts , 2sc in next stitch \* repeat 5 more times (36 sts) Rd7: \*sc in next five sts , 2sc in next stitch \* repeat 5 more times (42 sts) Rd8-12: sc around (5 rds) Rd13: \* sc in next five sts , dec over next two stitches\* repeat 5 more times (36 sts) Rd14: \* sc in next four sts , dec over next two stitches\* repeat 5 more times (30 sts) Rd15: \*sc in next three sts , dec over next two stitches\* repeat 5 more times (24 sts) Rd16: \*sc in next two sts , dec over next two stitches\* repeat 5 more times (18 sts) Now it's time to stuff the body and add the eyes and the nozzle.
For the eyes:
Just cut out two circles of felt in a size to match the eyes. Make a hole in the middle of each circle and push the eyes through. Bring the eyes onto the body between rds 9 and 10 and secure it. No need to sew the felt on, it's secured with the eyes.
For the nozzle:
Make a simple knot onto one end of the pipe cleaner and stick the other end through the body from inside to outside between rds 11 and 12. The nozzle should be positioned centered between the eyes. Bend until the pipe cleaner looks like a nozzle. Rd17: \*sc in next stitch, dec over next two stitches\* repeat 5 more times (12 sts) Rd18: \*dec over next two sts \* repeat 5 more times (6 sts) Bind off leaving a long tail. Wings
Cut out two shapes of the felt like the one shown below. One should be bigger than the other one.
Hanger String
Just make a chain until the hanger has the length you like. Join the ends of the string, bind off and leave a long tail to sew onto body.
Assembling
Sew all 6 legs to the body. Sew on the wings to the top of the body. The bigger ones should be under the smaller ones. Sew on the hanger. That's it! =) My very first andy very own crochet pattern!
