YARN: 1 Skein of each Color (A & B) 377 yards each like Baby Bee Delight from Hobby Lobby HOOK SIZE: H (5.omm) GAUGE: SIZE: One Size Fits Most - Adult ABBREVIATIONS: ST = Stitch CH = Chain HDC = Half Double Crochet DC = Double Crochet SPECIAL STITCHES: Shell = (2 DC, CH 4, 2 DC) in same space/stitch. NOTES: CH 1 does not count as a stitch. CH 3 at the beginning of a row counts as a DC. You can sell all finished products made from my patterns. Please give credit where credit is due. Ri: Shell in 7th CH from hook (6 skipped STS count as first DC and 3 skipped STS), \*Skip next 5 CHS, Shell in next CH, rep from \* across to last 4 CHS, skip next 3 CHS, DC in last CH. (25 Shells)

With Color B

R2: CH 3, turn, 7 DC in each CH-4 Space across, DC in top of CH 3 at end of row. (177DC)

With Color A

R3: CH 3, turn, skip next 3 DC, \*Shell in next DC, skip next 6 DC, rep from \* to last 4 DC, skip next 3 DC, DC in top of CH 3. (25 Shells) R4-R9: Repeat alternating R2 and R3. R1o: Repeat R2. Finish off. With Color A Attach on other side of beginning chain. NOTE: You will be mirroring the other side of the scarf. Ri: CH 3, \*Skip next 5 CHS, Shell in next CH, rep from \* across to last 4 CHS, skip next 3 CHS, DC in last CH. (25 Shells)

With Color B

R2: CH 3, turn, 7 DC in each CH-4 Space across, DC in top of CH 3 at end of row. (177DC)

With Color A

R3: CH 3, turn, skip next 3 DC, \*Shell in next DC, skip next 6 DC, rep from \* to last 4 DC, skip next 3 DC, DC in top of CH 3. (25 Shells) R4-R9: Repeat alternating R2 and R3. R1o: Repeat R2. Finish off.

BRAIDS (SEE PHOTOS) With Color A attach yarn to short end of scarf. NOTE: You will use the sides of each DC on the short ends. 2 HDC will go into each side except one will only have 1 DC. R1: CH 1, 13 HDC across part of the short end. (13 STS) R2-R5o: CH 1, turn, HDC in each ST across. (13 STS) Finish off. Repeat this process across short end of scarf. With Color B attach yarn to OTHER short end of scarf. NOTE: You will use the sides of each DC on the short ends. 2 HDC will go into each side except one will only have 1 DC. R1: CH 1, 13 HDC across part of the short end. (13 STS) R2-R5o: CH 1, turn, HDC in each ST across. (13 STS) Finish off. Repeat this process across short end of scarf.

Once this is done on both ends I recommend weaving in all ends. Then you will braid each end and attach same color of yarn to crochet the 3 ends together. NOTE: I suggest braiding somewhat tightly. (SEE PHOTOS)

R1: CH 1, HDC across (crocheting 3 layers together). (13 STS) R2-R5: CH 1, turn, HDC across. (13 STS) OTHER END R1: CH 1, HDC across (crocheting 3 layers together). (13 STS) R2: CH 1, turn, HDC in next 2, CH 3, Skip next 3 STS, HDC in next 3, CH 3, skip next 3 STS, HDC in last 2 STS. R3: CH 1, turn, HDC in next 2, 3 HDC in ch-3 space, HDC in next 3, 3 HDC in ch-3 space, HDC in last 2. (13 STS) R4-R5: CH 1, turn, HDC across. (13 STS) FINSIHING Attach buttons to the 'solid' end of the one braid. I used some buttons I made out of FIMO Clay.
