Granny's Cutie's Santa Amigurumi Christmas Ornament
This is an Intermediate level pattern written in Us Crochet terms

Materials Needed:
3.0 mm hook Small amounts of white, tan, red, black worsted weight yarn Tapestry needle Scissors Polyfil Batting
Stitch Legend:
Mgc Rng - Magic Ring St - Stitch SC - Single Crochet S1 St - Slip Stitch 2SCTog - Single Crochet Invisible Decrease YO - Yarn Over \* - Repeat instructions between \*'s
SANTA
Round 1: With White yarn, make a Mgc Rng & work 6 SC into the ring. Pull yarn tail to close and working in a spiral fashion. Continue to Round 2. Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, continue to next round (12 SC) 3: \*1 SC into the next stitch, 2 SC into the next SC, \*Repeat around. (18 SC) Round 4: \*1 SC in next 2 stitches, 2 SC into the next St, \*Repeat around (24 SC) Round 5: \*1 SC in next 3 stitches,2 SC into the next St, \*Repeat around (30 SC) ound 6: 1 SC in next 4 stitches, 2 SC into the next St, \*Repeat around (36 SC Round 7: 1 SC into each St in the back loops only. (36 SC) Round 8: 1 SC in both loops of the St in each St around (36 SC) Change colors to Tan yarn and begin working to decrease for the face. Round 9: \*1 SC in next 4 stitches, insert your hook into the next St, YO & pull up a loop, insert your hook into the next St & pull up a loop, YO & pull through all loops on the hook for an invisible decrease (2SCTog),\*Repeat around (30SC) Round 10: 1 SC in each St around (30 SC) Round 11: \*1 SC in next 3 stitches, 2SCTog, \*Repeat around (24 SC) Pull up a long loop & remove your hook for just a moment & use the tapestry needle to embroider black eyes and cherry nose, and begin stuffing here. Place eyes in row 10 with 7 stitches between. Cherry nose is a running stitch in bottom of 4" stitch between eyes. Fasten off embroidery yarns & reattach hook. Continue to next round. Round 12: 1 SC into each St around (24 SC) Change colors to White yarn Round 13: \*1 SC in each of the next 2 stitches, 2SCTog, \*Repeat around (18 SC) Change colors to Red yarn. Rounds 14 - 15: 1 SC into each St around (18 SC) Round 16: \*1 SC in the next stitch, 2SCTog, \*Repeat around (12 SC) Rounds 17-19: 1 SC in each St around (12 SC) Round 20: \*2SCTog, \*Repeat around to decrease down to 6 SC for the total number of stitches in the round, Change colors to White yarn. Finish stuffing your piece with Polyfil & move on to the next round. Round 21: 1 SC into each St around (6 SC), Ch 3 & Sl St back into the last SC, Ch 1 & fasten off leaving a yarn tail of 8 inches to sew closed. Weave in ends and cut extra yarn.
