Stringing the beads: Start by pulling one end of a strand of beads from the hank. Fold the empty thread in half. Using the loop end tie a knot in the double thread. This willeave a little loop at the end. Thread about 2 inches of pearl coton through this loop. Slowly slide the beads down onto the pearl cotton. Continue stringing beads until the entire hank is strung onto the pearl cotton. Main body of the bag: Cast on 18 stitches. Whip stitching althe way around both sides of the gusset ending with the cast on edge on the bag body. Repeat with the second gusset. Some neck chain options: Crochet a simple chain, make a beaded chain, or simply use strands of the remaining beads on the pearl cotton.
