Mon gilet 《 Annette 》

Asymmetric Jacket with shawl collar, Circular needles n°10 US Tension :10cm (4 inches) : 18 stitches, 22 rows yarn : 600grms of Natur, Camel color, from Ardelaine
Back:
Cast on 70 stitches, 1st row: (RS). \*K2.P2. Rep from \* to end of row. 2nd row: \*P2. K2. Rep from \* to end of row. Rep last 2 rows of (K2. P2) ribbing until work from beg measures 2 cms (4 rows). Continue in st st making 3 decreases all 9 rows on each side and on 12 cms (27 rows). Continue straight ahead on 7 cms (15 rows). Make 3 increases (conversely previous dimminutions), that is all 9 rows, on each side. Begin the decreases of shape cap, on each side : one decrease all 4 rows in 4 stitches of edges : 4 times. Continue straight in st st until 17cm longs (without decreases) Pull down then on each side for shoulders: 1x5 stitches both rows. Then pull down all the remaining stitches all at once for the neckline ( 49 stitches)
Fronts:
Both fronts are knit in an identical way but reversing all shaping (a decrease to the right for left front will be a decrease to the left for the other front .etc). However, the right front will have a buttonhole in the row 65 (buttonhole: to pull down 3 stitches in 2 stitches of the right edge then to go back up these 3 stitches in the following row, that is: row 66). For the half—in fronts, the principle consists in making 11 increases every 4 rows (for 5 first ones) then all 6 rgs, on the outside edge and at the same time 3 decreases on the other edge every 11 rows then 3 increases in the same way on the same edge (for the "waisted"). Then 45 decreases each rows for the neckline, while making the same shape cap as for the back on the other font: Begin to cast on 50 st. For each row, see what it gives for the right front (the one who has the buttonhole): Row 1 - 4: ribs 2/2 row 5 in 8: work in stockinette st row 9: an increase to the right always at 2 stitches of the edge row 10 in 12: work in stockinette st row 13: an increase to the right and a decrease to the left row 14 in 16: work in stockinette st row 17: an increase to the right rows 18 in 20: work in stockinette st row 21: an increase to the right row 22: a decrease to the left rows 23 and 24: work in stockinette st row 25: an increase to the right rows 26 - 30: work in stockinette st row 31: an increase to the right and a decrease to the left rows 32 in 36: work in stockinette st row 37:une increase to the right rows 38 in 42: work in stockinette st row 43: an increase to the right rows 44 and 45: work in stockinette st row 46: an increase to the left rows 47 and 48: work in stockinette st row 49: an increase to the right rows 50 in 54: work in stockinette st row 55: an increase to the right and an increase to the left rows 56 in 60: work in stockinette st row 61: an increase to the right rows 62 and 63: work in stockinette st row 64: an increase to the left row 65: a buttonhole (not for the left front) + a surjet/decrease to the left at 4 stitches of the ed (this is the beginning of the armhole). At the same time, make a decrease of 1 stitch to the right 45 times each row (neckline). Rows 66 - 68: work in stockinette st row 69: a surjet/decrease to the left at 4 stitches of the edge rows 70 to72: work in stockinette st row 73: a surjet to the left (id 65 and 69) row 74 to 76: work in stockinette st row 77: a surjet to the left then continue work in stockinette st hanging 41 rows. Bind off all stitches. Knit the other front (without the buttonhole). Sew together, the shoulders of the back and the fronts using grafting (or something else which is the least visible as possible). Sewsides. Sleeves: circulars needles 10, 12inches (30cms), shortened rows' technic. Under the arm, pick up 2 stitches, then 24 stitches (approximately every 2 stitches, I once pick up On every stitches, then 1 time by jumping a stitch), place a marker A, pick-up 24 stitches and 2 stitches, place a marker B. Close in circle. Work in stockinette st until 8 stitches after the marker A (the one who is on the top of the shoulder), slide the following stitch, turn the work, work in purl to front up to 8 stitches after the same ring marker, slide the following stitch, then turn the work. \*purl to front up to the stitch slided (purl it), slide a stitch and turn, knit until the stitch slided by the previous row (knit it), slide a stitch and turn. \* According to its tastes, make or not, 5 decreases every 10 rows in 2 stitches on both sides of the marker of the bottom of arm, on 50 rows, (38 cms). Continue working in st st 92 rgs (or less according to the length of deliberate sleeve) and finish by making 4 rows of ribs 1/1.
Collar :
Pick up 131 stitches (as for sleeves approximately 1 on 2 and 1 on 1 by alternating), knit in ribs 1/1 hanging 42 rows (either up to no more thread!) then bind off all stitches. Finishes: fix a necklace to the left front, in the lower junction of the collar and the front, then another thread inside under the right armhole (they are the links to cross bows). Sew on button on the left front approximately 3 cms from the armhole. Wear with enjoyment!!!
