Directions
Cast on 28 st with waste yarn, work in ST st for $\%$ in and then switch to pattern yarn. Work in St st for $52\%$ in. On next k rnd, dec every st $(\mathrm{k}\,2\,\mathrm{tog})$ to 16 st. On next p rnd, begin to work cuff in $2\mathtt{x}2$ rib $(\mathrm{k}2,\!\mathrm{p}2)$ for $2\%$ in. Bind off. Return to other end and pick up 28 st, cut waste yarn and discard. On next k rnd, dec every st to 16 st. On next p rnd, $\mathbf{k}2\mathbf{x}2$ rib for $2\,\,\%$ in. Bind off.
Finishing
