Next row: K2, YO, \*k2tog, YO\* end k2 Work stockinet for 12 Inch. Knit 9, CO2, K 18 , CO2, k9 K side back for %2", k4 rows seed stitch, k2 each row sleeve side BO in pattern Repeat for second side back Front: K stockinet 1/2 inch, knit two stitches everyroweachonsleeveside K4 rows seed stitch. BO in pattern Sew back seam. Sew bits of ribbon for shoulder straps. Sew clear plastic snap on ribbon strap at front. You could sew a tiny button over the snap on the front of the straps. The straps could also be knitted. Knit 3 rows K f&b, knit across, k f&b K f&b, purl across, k f&b Repeat until 22 stitches. Work stockinet for 1/2 inch, Knit 4 rows k2,p2 rib, BO in pattern. Note: I found knitting this tiny I-cord on my7" dps to be awkward so I took a couple of round toothpicks and sanded their points blunt with an emory board and used them to knit the Icord. They measured about the same size as #1 needles. Just an idea to consider,
Measure your dolls check and knit a 4 stitch Icord a little shorter than that measurement to allowforstretch. Fold in half to find center. Pick up 7 stitches P K p2tog, p3. p2tog k2tog, k1, k2tog sl1 p2tog, psso Pick up 7 stitches other side of center and repeat. Sew hook or snap on ends of I-cord, fitting to doll. Sew 1/8th inch ribbon on top front of cups and cut to fit over shoulder (about 1 %") and sew to back strap. Repeat for second shoulder strap.
