Round 2: Chain 1 and 2hdc in the same st, hdc in the next 8 sts, 2hdc in the next 6 sts, hdc in the next 9 sts, 2hdc in the next 2 sts, slip st (35 sts). Round 3: Chain 1 and hdc in the same st, 2hdc in the next st, hdc in the next 9 sts, [2hdc, hdc, 2hdc] in the next 3 sts, [dc, 2dc, dc, 2dc, dc] in the next 5 sts, [2hdc, hdc, 2hdc] in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 10 sts, [2hdc, hdc, 2hdc] in the last 3 sts, slip st (44 sts).

Row 1: Chain1, hdc in the same st, hdc across, slip st (44 sts). Row 2: Chain 1 and hdc in the same st, hdc in the next 13 sts, repeat [hdc2tog, hdc] x 4 times, hdc2tog in the next st, hdc in the next 16 sts, slip st (39 sts). Row 2 (ws): Sl 1 (slip purlwise) work in pat to second marker, sm, p2tog[k2tog], p1[k1] turn. Row 3: Sl1, work in pat to 1 stitch before the gap, ssk[ssp] (the stitches you use for the ssk[ssp] should be or either side of the gap from your last short row and close that gap), k1[p1], turn. Row 4: Chain 1 and sc in the same st, sc2tog in the next sts, sc in the next 2 sts, sc2tog in the next sts, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 x sc2tog in the next sts, sc in the next 5 sts, 2 x sc2tog in the next sts, sc in the next 2 sts, sc2tog in the next sts, sc in the next 4 sts, sc2tog in the next sts, slip st (23 sts).
This is an example picture of 0-3 month's size. You may add strap if you want. I like it this way.
Strap:
Chain 11 and sc in the second chain from hook, sc in the next 9 chain, chain 5, sc in the next 10 sts, chain 5, slip st (20 sts).
Flower (use the same type of yarn but change hook to 2.50mm):
Round1: Magic ring, chain1 and make 10 sc in the loop, slip st (10 sts). Round 2: Chain 1 and sc in the same st, chain 1, dc in the same st, dc in the next st, chain 1, sc in the same st, repeat [sc in the next st, , chain 1, dc in the same st, dc in the next st, chain 1, sc in the same st] x 4 times, slip st (20 sts). Round 3: slip st across the back loop of the petals. To get sharp peak as in picture, when slip st at 1st dc at the petals, chain 2 first then continue slip st at the 2nd dc. Repeat every time at dc-dc stitches.

Sole
Round 1: Chain 16, hdc in the second chain from hook, hdc in the next 6 sts, dc in the next 7 sts, 6hdc in the last chain, dc in the next 7 sts, hdc in the next 6 sts, 3hdc in the last st, slip st (36 sts). Round 2: Chain 2 and 2dc in the same st, dc in the next 13 sts, 2dc in the next 6 sts, dc in the next 14 sts, 2dc in the next 2 sts, slip st (45 sts). Round 3: Chain 2 and dc in the same st, 2dc in the next st, dc in the next 14 sts, repeat [2dc, dc] x 5 times, 2dc in the next st, dc in the next 15 sts, [2dc, dc, 2dc] in the last 3 sts, slip st (54 sts).
