
Victoria's Chevron Wrap
This scarf/wrap is long enough to be wrapped around twice and be like a cowl, or wide enough to cover the head and go once around the neck. it is reversible... and very simple. Finished measurements: Width = approx 12 inches Length = approx 60 inches Material: approx 600 yards 2-ply of East Friesian single (grey, source Highland Farm, Chester County PA) and Jacob (black only, source Shiloh Farm, VA) single Both singles spun on Canadian Production Wheel and plied on a Schacht Matchless, by Victoria Dow. US 7 Knitting needles. 7 markers Gauge: 1 repeat over 10 sts = approx 1,75 inches on US 7 knitting needles or size to obtain gauge Pattern stitch: over 10 sts and 6 rows

Row 1: P4, K1, P1, K4 Row 2: P3, K2, P2, k3 Row 3: P2, K2, P1, K1, P2, K2 Row 4: P1, K2, P2, K2, P2, K1 Row 5: K2, P3, K3, P2 Row 6: K1, P4, K4, P1 Cast on 66 sts. Row 1: Slip first st as to purl with yarn in front, K 2, place marker, \*Work 10 sts of pattern, place marker; repeat from \* 5 more times, end with K3. Row 2: Slip first st as to purl with yarn in front, K2, M, \*work 10 sts of pattern, M; repeat from \* end with K3 Work pattern as established until desired length.. Bind off. Weave ends. Block or do not block. (l didn't block at all as I wanted the texture, but you could like it otherwise.)
