The Granny Circle was made with Vanna's Choice yarn in honey, antique rose, mustard, linen and dusty blue. Skill level: easy Finished size: 4" across Needed: hook size 5 (H)

yarn start with a slip knot on your hook and simply do a sl st to start in a ch 1 spac Make a slip knot, leave your circle open enough that you will be able to do Round 1 in the circle. Be sure that you can tighten it after the first round is complete. Round 1- In your slip knot circle ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc, ch 1, (2dc, ch1) rep 4 more times, join with sl to the top of the ch 3. You will have 5 groups of 2dc, ch 1. Fasten off. Tighten your slip knot to close the center. Round 2- change color - in ch 1 sp - ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc, ch 1, 2dc, ch 1, in next ch 1 sp (2dc, ch 1, 2dc, ch 1) x9, join with sl to the top of the ch 3. 10 groups total. Fasten off. Round 3- change color - in ch 1 sp - ch 3 (counts as first dc) 2dc, ch 1, in next ch 1 sp (3dc, ch 1) x9, join with sl to the top of the ch 3. 10 groups total. Fasten off. Index: I used 7 feet of jute twine to hang 10 granny circles on.
