Difficulty: Easy Size: 5 inch diameter Abbreviations: ch: chain sl st: slip stitch sc: single crochet dc: double crochet Materials: Any worsted-weight yarn (a stiff yarn like Red Heart Super Saver works just fine) in green, white and red. Size G (4 mm) crochet hook Yarn needle Pattern:
Basic Ring:
-With color of your choice (I used green), ch 20, join to form ring. -ch 2, sc in same joining chain. -\*sc in ch, 2 sc in next chain, repeat from \* around. Join to top of ch 2. (Ring formed)

-ch 2; now you will be crocheting around the ring just formed. Work approximately 40 dc over ring (or an even # the fits around ring). Sl st in ch 2; fasten off.

Edging: -Join edging color (I used white) in a dc, ch 3, sc in same dc \*skip next dc, sc, ch 3, sc in same stitch, repeat from \* around, sl st in first sc. If you want a hanging loop, ch 10 - 12, sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

Trim: -Embroider french knots (I used red) around the ring. (If you run the needle between the layers of the wreath, not all the way through to the back of the wreath, it keeps the back looking neat also.) I start at the top & leave long tails on each end to tie for the bow trim. Fasten Off. Trim top with a red & white bow. Weave in ends.

Use your favorite color combos & make many to decorate your tree.
