GAUGE
In Stockinette stitch, 16 sts and 22 rows = 4" Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

CO: cast on K: knit P: purl PM: place marker Rep: repeat RS: right side SM: slip marker CO 92 sts. Work Edging as follows: Rows 1 & 2: Knit. Rows 3 & 4: \*K1, p1. Rep from \* to end of row. Rows 5 & 6: Knit. Poncho Body Row 1 (RS): Knit 70 sts, pm, \*k1, p1. Rep from \* to end of row. Row 2: \*K1, p1. Rep from \* to marker, sm, purl to end of row. Row 3: Knit all sts, slipping marker as you come to it.

Row 4: Knit to marker, sm, purl to end of row. Rep Rows 1-4 until worked measures 45" from CO, ending with Row 2. Work Edging as follows: Rows 1 & 2: Knit, removing marker as you come to it. Rows 3 & 4: \*K1, p1. Rows 5 & 6: Knit. Bind off all stitches.
FINISHING
Block to finished measurements. Fold in half lengthwise. Measure 12" from fold, place marker. Seam top edge from marker to selvedge edge. Weave in all ends.
