This scarf is knitted flat holding two strands of yarn, repeating the Shifting Leaves Lace pattern three repeats per section, adjusting the colour of yarn as you progress. The colour gradient will have shifted through all colours. Using US 8 needle and two strands of C1 CO 53 stitches. WS Using two strands of C1 held double purl one full row.

Proceed to knit the Shifting Leaves Lace pattern with rolled icord edging outlined in the written instructions. Repeat the lace three times per colour section, swapping in yarn colours based on the Colour Shifting Guide.

At the end of the final colour section bind off all stitches. Cut 26o strands, 18" long each in your preferred colour combination from remaining yarn. Gather 10 strands into a bunch and fold in half. Using a crochet hook, pull the strands through the knitted fabric of the scarf and through the loop created at the fold. Gently tighten and repeat the process evenly spacing fringe 13 bunches across each end of the scarf. To avoid fraying tie an overhand knot in the end of each strand. Bloching & Ongoing Care
Hennessy yarn is made from Untreated Bluefaced Leicester and must be washed by hand. Upon finishing, we recommend soaking your cowl in a tepid bath with the wool wash and block somewhere safe until dry.
