Materials: Size H Hook 3 Balls each Daffodil, Aquamarine, Medium Gray, and color for trim (suggested: Cream or Aran) Cnochet Karin (www.etsy.com/shop/CrochetByKarin) Blanket designed using Herrschners Worsted 8 yarn colors, but can be substituted using any yarn/hook combination. Final finished size is 40"x50" depending on yarn/hook used. Ch - chain stitch, DC - Double Crochet, FO -Fasten off, SI St - Slip Stitch, MC - Main Color, AC -Alternate Color , 5DcINC -work 5DC in the same stitch
Instructions:
Spiral Pattern: Row 1: With MC: Create 'magic ring', add 1SC, 1HDC, 1DC, drop yarn, With AC: sl st, Ch 2, add 3 DC, mark St Row 2: With MC: DC, 5DcINC, mark stitch; With AC: DC, 5DcINC, mark stitch For each additional row: With MC: DC across to 3rd DC of corner - add 5DclNC to 3rd DC of corner, repeat for AC Large Square: Add 12 rows Medium Square: Add 8 rows Small Square: Add 4 rows Tiny Square: Row 1: Create 'magic ring', Ch 2, add 6 DC stitches, sl st to 1st DC Row 2: Ch 2, (5DcINC, DC) x4, SI St to 1st DC, FO Assembly: Align squares side by side and right side up. Sl st in corner of square one, Ch2 - remove hook and insert in opposite corner of square two, pulloop through, Ch 2 - (remove hook and insert in next stitch of square one, pull loop through, Ch 2) repeat across
