Materials: Minimum of 2 skeins Cascade 220 (or minimum of 440 yards of any worsted weight yarn). Choose two coordinating colors or both skeins in one color. 5.5 mm (Size I) Crochet Hook Darning Needles and Stitch Markers FOUNDATION CHAIN: Using Color A, and leaving a 12" tail, work a chain of 40" to 48", turn. ROW 1: SC in either top loop or spine loop of 2nd CH from hook, and in the same loop of each CH thereafter. CH 3 (counts as first DC here and throughout), turn. ROW 2: DC into second SC and each SC thereafter. CH 3 and secure free loop with a stitch marker. Thread 12" tail through darning needle. Lay work out flat, so that there are no twists. Fold in half lengthwise so that short edges meet. Flip one side over so that work forms a twisted circle (moebius). Using tail, stitch edges together and weave in end. ROUND 1: DC into same stitch from which you chained 3. Mark 3rd chain in first CH-3 with stitch marker (same place you had already marked). 2 DC into first stitch after join, and into each stitch thereafter. This round should end at stitch marker. Join with SL ST. DO NOT TURN. CH 3 (counts as Ist DC of ROUND 2). [Note: If you are using two colors, Finish off color A before chaining 3 to form 1st DC of ROUND 2. Join Color B. Using Color B, CH 3 (counts as first DC of ROUND 2). DO NOT TURN]. ROUND 2: DC into next stitch. Mark first DC with stitch marker. 2 DC into next stitch. \*DC into next stitch. 2 DC into next stitch.\* Repeat from \* to \* all the way around to stitch marker. Join to top of initial CH-3 with SL ST. ROUND 3: Repeat Round 2. For a decorative edge, use Color A (or another contrasting color), work one SC into each DC of Round 3. Finish off, weave in all ends.
