YOU NEED: - 2 ×'Big Wool' (Midara, 100m/100g) - 10 mm (US 15) knitting needle - sewing needle to weave in ends Abbreviations: sts = stitches k = knit k2tog tbl = knit 2 sts together through the back loop p2tog= purl 2 sts together Gauge: 10 sts = 4 inches Begin: cast on 50 sts (2 edge sts) 1st row: knit edge st; k2tog tbl BUT let only the first st slip off while the second st stays on the left needle; k2tog tbl, again letting only the first stitch slip off while the second stays on the needle and s0 on until there are only 2sts remaining; k last 2 sts tog (letting the first slip off the needle); slip the last st purlwise. 2nd row: knit edge st; p2tog, letting the first st slip off while the second st stays on the needle (as you did on the first row); p2tog letting only the first st slip and so on until there are only 2 sts remaining; p2tog (letting the first slip off the needle); slip last st purlwise. Repeat these 2 rows about 40 times (80 rows total) - or for as long as you'd like your cowl. (Careful! You will need about 1m of yarn to sew.) Bind off, sew both ends together, weave in ends. Done!
