Cast on 13 sts and work in garter stitch (knit every stitch and every row) adding a different yarn about every 10" or 15 yards until you either run out of yarn or have reached the desired length. You can embellish by adding strips about 13" in length of silk ribbons, fabric strips at random if you like by knotting them where it suits you. Add a fringe, either a full one or just one at each tip left and right side of scarf. Have fun with it! You can't do wrong with this easy, yet so fun and effective way of designing a truly unique piece from your leftovers.
