Fabric pattern:
P1,K1 Ribbing forms the background pattern for the reversible cables c8L slip next 4 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, work next 4 sts in pattern, then work 4 sts from cable needle in pattern.
Cast On
CO and join 80 stitches, pm with A to mark beginning of round $\mathsf{*p1,K1^{*}}$ around, placing markers every eight stitches in alternating colors Work in $^{*}\mathsf{P1}$ ， $\mathsf{K}1^{*}$ pattern as established for 4 more rounds Work cable row 1: $^{*}\mathsf{C}8\mathsf{L}$ , work 8 sts in pattern\* Work in $^{*}\mathsf{P1}$ ， $\mathsf{K}1^{*}$ pattern as established for 7 rounds Work cable row 2: \* work 8 sts in pattern, C8L\* Work in $^{*}\mathsf{P1}$ ， $\mathsf{K}1^{*}$ pattern as established for 7 rounds Work cable row 1: $^{*}\mathsf{C}8\mathsf{L}$ , work 8 sts in pattern\* Work in $^{*}\mathsf{P1}$ ， $\mathsf{K}1^{*}$ pattern as established for 7 rounds Work cable row 2: \* work 8 sts in pattern, C8L\* Decrease rounds: Work every even round in P1, K1 pattern 1 \*(P2tog, K2tog) 2 times, (P1, K1) 4 times\* to end of round, 60 sts rem 3 \*P2tog, K2tog, (P1, K1) 4 times\* to end of round, 50 sts rem 5 \* P1, K1, (P2tog, K2tog) 2 times\* to end of round, 30 sts rem 7 \*P1, K1, (P2tog, K2tog)\* to end of round, 20 sts rem 9 Remove markers, \*P2tog, K2tog\* to end of round, 10 sts rem 11 Repeat round 9, 5 sts rem Draw yarn through remaining stitches with tapestry needle and work in end.
