Hook: G/6 (4.25mm) or Gauge: approx 6 sc per inch Yarn: worsted weight in black, white, and iris color Yarn Needle Stitch Marker Notes Worked in the round Magic Circle best for starting

ch-chain sc-single crochet hdc-half double crochet tc-triple crochet ss-slip stitch st(s)-stitch(es) Right and left eye are identical. Round 1: with black, ch 3, in second ch from hook, 10sc, ss into first sc-OR- Magic Circle 10sc, ss into first sc(10) Round 2: ss to change to iris color, 2sc in each st around (20) Round 3: ss to change to white, work sc in next 2 sts, hdc 2, 2dc in next st, dc, hdc 2, sc 4, hdc 2, dc, 2dc in next st, hdc 2, sc 2 (22) Finish off Weave in ends with yarn needle or keep them long to sew on as appliques to your project.
