Join to work in the round. Work in K2P2 ribbing for 24 rows. Arrange stitches so that needle one has 12 stitches, and needles 2 & 3 have 6 stitches each. Working yarn will be on the left. Purl back across the 12 stitches on needle 1 so that the working yarn is on the right.

: until 3 stitches are left, K2tog, K1. Knit even on needles 2 & 3. peat until needle 1 is back down to 12 stitches (24 stitches tota Knit even for 8-12 rounds. This really depends on gauge (mine was 8 rows /inch). 3" is the equivalent of a newborn size O shoe and what you are aiming for once the sock is complete. Decrease for toe: Needle 1: K1, SSK, knit until 3 stitches are left, K2tog, K!. Needle 2: Kl, SSK, knit to end. Needle 3: Knit until 3 stitches are left, K2tog, K1. @Jenn Embry 2015 jenn.embry@gmail.com Repeat until there are 12 stitches left (total). Combine the remaining stitches on needles 2 & 3 to one needle. Bind off with method of choice. I used a Russian Graft (with a crochet hook) on this pair. You can also use the Kitchener Stitch, or turn the sock inside out and do a 3 needle bind off. I don't worry too much about which bind off to use because these socks are for new babies that won't be walking and therefore the seam shouldn't be an issue.
