AN ANY YARN ANY YARDAGE SHAWL DESIGNED BY MEGHAN JACKSON

When my mom (affectionately known as “Gamma to her grandchildren) asked for a simple shawl design that would work for a special skein of yarn, there were a couple of specifications she had in mind: it was to work with any yarn, it wouldn't require a lot of counting, it was easy to memorize, and it could be made any size she wanted... Gamma Ray is the result, and I hope you enjoy this “go-to" pattern as much as she does!

MATER!ALS

1 skein fingering weight yarn (sample shown in Handmaiden Fine Yarn Casbah Sock, 325 metres (355 yards) per 115 grams, 80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon) 4.5 mm (US #7) circular needle 32" or longer Stitch markers (if desired) Darning needle
