Cabled Cosy

I was looking for a basic cabled mug cosy and I was unable to locate one that matched the cosy I had pictured in my mind. So I just started knitting and added the various elements of the cosy I had envisioned. Then I realized that I did not have a way to “capture" my new project on my Ravelry project page, so I decided to write up the pattern. Here goes nothing! n - Fingering weight yarn (I used left-over All Things Heather in Charcoa Needle - Size 4 (I used two bamboo circulars) Gauge - God only knows
Abbreviations
k-knit p-purl pm-place stitchmarker sm- slip stitchmarker c6f- slip three stitches onto cable needle, hold cable needle in front, knit the next three stitches, and then knit the three stitches from the cable needle Cast on 68 stitches using a method that gives you a stretchy cast-on. Place a stitchmarker at the beginning of the round if you wish. Knit 2, purl 2 around and around until you have an inch of ribbing.
