MATERIALS
· 1 skein of Cocoon by Rowan · Size 10 double-pointed needles (dpns) · Stitch marker (or some kind of fastener like knit clips) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Head circumference 18" Width 212"
GAUGE
20 sts = 4" over I-cord with size 10 needles Check gauge for best results!
I-CORD
Cast on sts, \*knit 1 row, but do not turn work. Slide stitches to other end of needle. (This is why you use double points.) With RS facing and working yarn at left-most stitch on your left hand needle, knit into right-most stitch on left hand needle, pulling working yarn across back of stitches to begin next row. HEADBAND
Cast on 11 sts. Work in I-cord until piece measures 17" from beg. Bind off. Make 2 more strands in I-cord.
FINISHING
