Leaves Turning--Playful Chunky Cowl By Abby Tohline Skill Level: Easy Intermediate Skills Needed: Knit, Knit two together (Ktog), Yarn over (YO), knitting in the round, increasing stitches. One day when staring at my newly acquired Berocco Keltic yarn, it struck me that the slow color change across the length of the skein from green to orange was just like the changing colors of the leaves as summer turns to fall. I really wanted to make something that used only that single skein and really showcased the color change, but also something that could be worn during the very season change that it evoked for me. I almost immediately cast on this cowl and it became Leaves Turning. The open lacework makes it not too hot but also allows the yarn to stretch out to a nice long, slouchy cowl that slowly morphs from green along the bottom to the lovely orange that frames the face, or vice versa. \*SinceBeroccoKelticis nowdiscontinued you canuseanybrand of chunky yarn that you want to that is lofty and wooly to get the same effect.
