Lily's Sugar'n Cream 1 skein DPNs or Circular needles US size 7 and 8, Crochet hook US 7 or 8
Wrist
Cast 37 sts onto larger needle leaving a 12” tail. (for hanging loop) Using smaller needles, being careful not to twist, join by slipping first stitch and knit 1x1 ribbing, ending by purling the slipped st and the last stitch together. Knit 1x1 ribbing for 8 rows. Switch to larger needles and work 8 rows in pattern Thumb Gusset (continue in pattern) Row 1 Knit in pattern 16 sts, KLL, KRL (make 2 lifted increases between sts 16 & 17), continue in pattern. Row 3 Knit in pattern 16 sts, slip marker, knit sts between markers, slip marker, continue in pattern. Row 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, Knit in pattern to marker, slip marker, M1R, knit to marker, M1L, slip marker, continue in pattern. Rows 6-8, 10-12, 14-16, 18-20, 22 Same as Row 3 Thumb Row 23 is interrupted to work thumb and continued after thumb is complete.
