INSTRUCTIONS: Gauge: 2 sc long by 2 rows high = 1 sq. Inch Video demo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uoo8vqa3aro 1. Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. 2. Chain 2, carrying the yarn along the outside of the ring so it can be pulled to close up the hole, make 10 double crochet in the ring. 3. Chain 2 and turn, make 2 double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to join. (20) 4.Repeat step 3. (40) 5. Chain 2 and turn, double crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join. (40) 6. Repeat step 5 for 3 more rows, fasten off. 7. Attach contrasting color yarn,\*chain 1, single crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join. Repeat from \* for 2 more rows, fasten off, weave all yarn ends into the finished Work.
FLOWER:
Chain 5, slip stitch to join and form a ring. \*Chain 6, single crochet in the ring, repeat from \* to make a total of 6 loops in the ring, slip stitch to join in the base of the first chain 6, fasten off. Sew a button in the center of the flower and sew onto the hat. END OF PATTERN
