Simple Knitted Capelet Pattern for Animals in Garter Stitch with Adjustable Length

It can be adjusted to whatever length you'd prefer. Here I've used a Drops Alpaca boucle yarn for a cosy faux fur effect on the top capelet and Rowan Kidsilk Haze for a wispy, delicate capelet below. .Makina:.. Finishing:

There are no seams, so just weave in both tail ends before trimming excess yarn. Sew on two 6 inch lengths of thin satin ribbon at both sides of the neck, pop the capelet on your knitted animal and tie the ribbon lengths together in a bow.
