Leg
Cast on 68 stitches. Knit 1 round and join the stitches taking care not to twist work, and mark beginning of round. Work the Twisted pattern until work measures $9\mathrm{cm}$ $3\,\%$ in) ending with a twist round. Next Round: k 48, [sl 2, kl, psso] twice, k to end of round. Mark this round with a safety pin so you can place the decrease at the same place on the second sock. Continue with the next 2 twist round in sequence, and work for another 9cm $3\%$ in) ending with 2 twist round 3. At this point try on the sock and see if you need to reduce for the ankle, this is designed to be a snugly fitting sock. If you decide to reduce follow the instructions below, if not, $\textrm{k}1$ round and follow the instructions from the \* symbol, and the figures in brackets. Heel Aap
K 30 (32) and leave on a thread or pin, work on next 30 (32) sts for heel flap. K 1 round P 1 round Row 1 [sll, k1, sll, kl] to end Row 2 sll purl wise, purl to end Repeat these two rows 15 times
Heel turn and foot
