Pretty Potholder

2 skeins of your main color in cotton (I used Lion Brand Cotton Ease in Cherry) 2 skein of your secondary color in cotton (I used Bernat Cotton Candy in Black) 1 size "L" (8.0mm) crochet hook (gauge is not important to this pattern) Scissors
Instructions
1.) Using souble strands of cotton throughout, with main color, chain 21. Turn 2.) In second stitch from hook, make hdc and in ea. st accross. (20 st) ch 1, turn. 3.) Hdc in ea. st across (20), ch 2, turn. 4.) Dc in ea. st across (20) ch 2, turn. 5.) Dc in ea. st across (20) ch 1, turn 6.) Hdc in ea. st across (20) ch 3, turn 7.) Tc in ea. st across (20) ch 3, turn 8.) Tc in ea. st across (20) ch 1, turn 9.) Hdc in ea. st across (20) ch 2, turn 10.) Dc in ea. st across (20) ch 2, turn 11.) Dc in ea. st across (20) ch 1, turn 12.) Hdc in ea. st accross (20), ch 1, turn 13.) Hdc in ea. st accross (20). Cut and finish off. 14.) With second color, hdc all the way around the outside of the finished potholder. Cut and you can make a loop or just tie one, as I have done.
