This scarf is double knitted using I love This Yarn Sport, I used 2 skeins each of black and gold and 3.74mm needles. When I ran out of my first color I measured what I had and considered that the middle and measured how many rows after my last Fleur de Lis. I added the new skein and did that many rows then started the Fleur de Lis again. The chart is 29 stitches and 40 rows, I added 10 stitches to each side of the Fleur de Lis. The chart doesn't include these stitches. Cast on 98 stitches, alternating between black and gold (49 of each color). I did 20 rows using only one color on each side before I started the Fleur de Lis and 20 rows between them. I did three Fleur de Lis and left the part that wraps around my neck plain since you wouldn't be able to see them. On the second half I turned the chart up side down so that the Fleur de Lis would be in the right direction. I finished the edge with the kitchener stitch. Then I didn't like my cast on SO I undid that and kitchener stitch that end. So now they match.
