A little sweet cloth to use with a tea mug or wine glasses for an aperitif with friendsSimple and elegant, it's perfect for every occasion. It can be knitted with straight or circular needles. A perfect project for beginners.
REQUIREMENTS

Cast on 40 sts Rows 1-6: knit all sts Row 7: knit all sts Row 8: k5, purl to the last 5 sts, k5 Rows 9-10: repeat rows 7 and 8 Rows 11-14: knit all sts Row 15: knit all sts Row 16: k10, p20, k10 Rows 17-34: odd rows repeat row 15, even rows repeat row 16 Rows 35-38: knit all sts Row 39: knit all sts Row 40: k5, purl to the last 5 sts, k5 Rows 41-42: repeat rows 39 and 40 Rows 43-47: knit all sts Row 48: bind off all sts by knitting them.
