You will need

DPNs (set of 4) or circulars - in 3mm (US 2 V) and 4mm (US 6) or to gauge Cable needle, or short DPN Tapestry needle or crochet hook (for pulling yarn through at the end) · You may wish to use stitch markers auge for 10x10cm (4x4"). Please check your gauge to ensure desired fit 2x2 rib (3mm/US 2.5) - 36 × 44 sts (unstretched, flat) stockinette (4mm/US 6) - 25 x 37 sts Notes for advanced knitters - the 2/2 cables twist in both directions, every 4 rounds. The 3/3 cables twist every 8 rounds (between 2/2 twists), and change direction after 4 twists. Decreases are placed in the stockinette stitch between cables, we start by reducing on the 48th row after the 2x2 rib (the same row as the 12th 2/2 cable twists) with a K2tog placed in centre (10th and 1ith) sts of the 20 st stockinette. This is followed 2 rows later by a centred SSK, and 2 rows after this, a K2tog. From then on, we alternate SSK and K2tog to reduce 3 sts per round, every round, until 35 x3 sts remain, we reduce 6 sts per round, until last 3 x3 sts, which we bind off by puling the yarn through the stitches tight.
