What You'll Need: 200 (300) yds of worsted weight yarn. Sample was knit with 4-ply $100\%$ cashmere Jade Sapphire color 047- Blueblood Red.
NEEDLES
One set of US 6 $(4\;\mathsf{m m})$ 24" long circular needle. Or size to obtain gauge Tapestry needle. GAUGE: 16 sts and $31\;\,\mathsf{r o w s}=4^{\ast}$ in Fish Scale Lace pattern. Take time to save time, check your gauge. Abbreviations: PM- place marker, M1- make 1.
PATTERN STITCHES:
Fish Scale Lace Pattern (worked over 17 sts) Rnd 1: K1, yo, k3, sl 1, k1, psso, p5, k2tog, k3, yo, k1. Rnd 2: K6 \*(p5, k12) rep from \* to last 11 sts, end p5, k6. Rnd 3: K2, yo, k3, sl 1, k1, psso, p3, k2tog, k3, yo, k2. Rnd 4: K7, \*(p3, k14) rep from \* to last 10 sts, end p3, k7. Rnd 5: K3, yo, k3, sl 1, k1, psso, p1, k2tog, k3, yo, k3. Rnd 6: K8, p1, k8. Rnd 7: K4, yo, k3, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3, yo, k4. Rnd 8: Knit. These 8 rounds make up the pattern. CO 170 (204) sts, join sts, being careful not to twist them, and PM for the beginning of the round. Work in Fish Scale Lace Pattern until piece measures $6\%$ (8)" from CO. BO all sts loosely. Enjoy!
