Finishing

Seam the sides, leaving a 1.5cm opening at the bottom of the left side before the belt tie. With a 3mm crochet hook, make a chain of about 30 chs, dc (US sc) across the bottom of the lower body, then chain a further 30 chs Work 1 row of dc (US sc) then fasten off. 1. The chain: leaving a tail of about 1ocm, make a knot and, without pulling tight, bring the yarn through the loop (= 1 chain). Repeat until you have the required number of chains, taking care not to pull too tight and keeping the chains loose.
