ROMANIANSLIPPERS
Some time ago, one friend gave me these slippers, made by her grandmother. I found them quite nice and decided to knit them as well. Here is my version of the pattern. I knitted these with a US8 and a US6 size needle and some stash yarn, of 2 different kinds. Cast on 48 stitches on a 6 size needle. Row 1- 4: 1x1 rib Row 5: change color and needle (8 size neddle) K20, M1, K1, M1, K1, M1, K4, M1, K1, M1, K1, M1, K20 Row 6:Purl Row 7: K20, M1, K2, M1, K2, M1, K6, M1, K2, M1, K2,M1,K20 Row 8: Purl Row 9: K20, M1, K3, M1, K3, M1, K8, M1, K3, M1, K3, M1, K20 Row 10: Purl Row 11: K20, M1, K4, M1, K4, M1, K10, M1, K4, M1, K4, M1, K20 Row 12: Purl Row 13: K20, M1, K5, M1, K5, M1, K12, M1, K5, M1, K5, M1, K20 Row 14: Purl Row 15: K20, M1, K6, M1, K6, M1, K14, M1, K6, M1, K6, M1, K20 Row 16 -28: Knit Bind off and sew.
