Materials: Fingering weight yarn, overall yardage needed: approx. 400 meters [437.5 yds] Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US 4] Cast on: 260 sts Work 6 rows in moss stitch (in RS, [k1, pl] and in WS rows, knit the purls and purl the knits) Now, work in short rows. In row 7, work to last 4 sts, turn and pull out double stitch (see explanation below). Work in moss st to last 4 sts of row, turn and pull out double st. Continue in est patt until all sts are used up and you have reached the center. Now, work remaining sts in pattern, treating the double st as one st (knitting both legs of it together as one st). Work one more row in moss st, treating the double st as onest. Knit for 2 rows (1 ridge) in first row, kfb the selvedge sts and knit-on co 1 additional st. Now, work an eyelet row:

Work the repeat (highlighted in yellow) to the end of the row. In the WS row following the eyelet row, knit all sts, ktbl the second yarn over. Knit one more row and decrease 1 st. Now, start working Chart A from row 1. Work all sts before the black arrow once, repeat the patt rep to end of row, ending the row with the sts shown after the black arrow. Work 3 pattern repeats heightwise, then bind off using crochet hook as follows: Grasp groups of 3 sts together with a crocheted slip st, work a chain-5 arch between groups of sts bound off tog. Exception: when binding off cable, grasp 2 sts tog, ch5, grasp 2 sts tog, after this continue in groups of 3 Sts. Chart A
