Modifications for knitting in the round.
To avoid seaming the sleeves, instead of knitting the arms flat, you can cast on and knit in the round for 6 (7, 7 1/2, 9) inches, following the directions above. Switch to working the piece flat, completing the skull chart as directed, until the piece measures 19 (21, 28 1/2, 30) inches from cast on cuff. Join again to knit in the round and complete the second sleeve as directed. Follow the directions above to pick up and knit the ribbing around the opening.
