Created by Regina Satta Alteration of an arch-shaped sock My foot is too small for the usual arch shaped sock, so I created this alternative pattern

Material:
· 100g Sockyarn // 460 yards (420 meters) i.e. Wolle Kunterbunt Merino / Bambo0 · a set of DPNs 1% (2.5mm)
The sock is worked with 64 sts ( ${\pmb{4}}\,{\pmb{\times}}$ 16 sts) in this pattern.
Cuff: 15 rows: \*ktbl, p1\* k1, p1, $\ast_{\mathsf{k3}}$ ,p1\*, k2 reapat \*-\* until desired length Tipp: You could use any kind of pattern of your own choice for the leg, according increases/decreases for the foot are charted below. Continue your desired pattern in between these. Heel Flap: The heel flap is worked back and forth over 32stsonneedle $^{1+2}$ 30rows $->$ stockinette stitch (Slip 1st stitch of every row purlwise and knit last stitch of every row.) R1: k17, ssk, k1 - turn R2: sl1 purlwise, p3, p2tog, p1 - turn R3: sl1 knitwise, k until 1 st before the gap, ssk, k1 - turn R4: sl1 purlwise, p until 1 st before the gap, p2tog, p1 - turn Keep repeating round 3 and 4 until all sts are knitted up. 18 sts remaining.
Gusset:
Rearrange sts as follows: K9 sts onto new needle. Knit remaining 9 sts. (This is now needle 1) You are now ready to pick up sts for the gusset. Using needle 1 pick up and knit 16 sts. Follow chart for needles 2 and 3. Using needle 4, pick up and knit 16 sts, then knit the remaining Knit the following round as follows: k9, k16tbl, needle $^{2+3}$ as established, k16tbl, k9 Gusset Decrease: As of now (row3 in chart), we'll start decreasing on every other roundonneedle $1+4$ asfollows: R1: K to last 3 sts of needle 1, k2tog, k1; work needles $^{2+3}$ in established chart, k1, ssk, k to end of needle 2 R2: knit needles $1{+}4$ ,needles $^{2+3}$ in established chart. Repeat those two rows until there are 16sts remaining on needle $1{+}4$ Tip: Rows with Gusset Decrease are marked X Foot: Knit instep (needles $^{2+3}$ ) in pattern established (chart 4a or 4b) needles $_{1+4}$ :stockinette stitch Continue until the foot measures about $2"$ (5cm) less than desired length. Toe: R1: k to last 3 sts of needle1, k2tog, k1; k1, ssk, k to end of needle 2; k to last 3 sts of needle 3, k2tog, k1; k1, ssk, k to end of needle 4. R2: knit Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until there are 10 sts left on each needle. Now decrease in every round (keep repeating row 1) until there are only 4sts left on each needle. Move sts from needle 2 to needle 3. Do the same for needle 1 and 4. Now you will have 8 sts on each of the two needles. Either do a 3 needle bind off from the wrong side or graft them together using kitchener stitch. CHART Foot NEEDLE3
