Materials needed:

· Skein of medium-weight sock yarn (350+ yds) · Needles to get you approximate gauge Darning needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:

· 7 sts x 13 rows over 1 inch in stockinette

Size:

· One size 64-st (stretchy)

Pattern Notes:

This pattern was designed as a mystery sock for the SKA Ravelry Group's March 2011 mystery sock pattern, which is why there are four "Clues". If you are a two-at-a-time sock knitter, everything in Clues #1 and 2 will be the same for both socks. Clues #3 and #4 will be specific to the first sock only. Instructions for the second sock will be included with Clue #4.

Clue #1

Pattern Instructions

titches (16 per needle). Work “Rib Cuff', then move on to “Leg, Part 1 Rib Cuff: Work in ribbing as follows for 12 rows. Ribbing: (p1, k2, p1)\*, repeat \* to end Leg, Part 1: Working Chart A across each of the four needles, repeat the chart through fully three times.

Clue #2 Work Chart B across all four needles (repeated twice per round). Work through all rows one time. Proceed to next instructions below.

Work Chart C across each of the needles (four times per round). Work all rows through fully two times.

Clue #3 Sock #1 Work first 8 stitches of needle 1 as you worked them in the previous row (p1, k6, p1). This is now the new beginning of the row, so shuffle stitches around such that each needle has 16 stitches on them again - 8 stitches from needle 2 to needle 1, 8 from needle 3 to 2, etc. Work Chart B again.
