A baby girl was born with minor hearing difficulties, she needs to wear hearing aids but keeps pulling them out. Sometimes the simplest of solutions are the best! This headband is designed narrow in the back so it easily stays in place, then simple increases and decreases make sure it gets wide enough to cover the ears. It is super cute and a pretty wardrobe accessory for any little girl, also for those with perfect hearing. Yarn weight is not essential for this design, any 4ply or DK will do. Pictured headbands: Pale blue - Mirasol Tuhu DK, Pale purple - Debbie Bliss Eco Baby 4ply Hook Crochet hook size 3.5mm. Sizes Baby: 13"/33cm (Toddler: 15"/38cm, Child: 17"/43cm) Remember the headband is supposed to stretch a bit to stay put. INSTRUCTIONS FLOWER
Ch4, join to form a ring with sl st in first ch, or make Magic Loop. Round 1: 2 sc in ring, ch 4, repeat 5 times more, sl st in first sc. There should be 6 ch 4 loops divided by 2 sc. Round 2: 5 dc, 1 sl st in next loop, repeat 5 times more, sl sts in final sl st in round 1. Attach flower to headband, weave in all ends.
