Needles and notions
Size US6 / 4mm and Size US7 $/\,4.5\;\mathrm{mm}\;16"\;/$ 40cm circular needle and set of dpn size Size US7 $/\,4,5$ mm. stitch marker cable needle Adjust the needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge
18 sts and 28 rows in St st -pattern using US 6 / 4 mm, over 10 cm / 4". Blocked
Pattern
CO 96 using 4 mm circular needle. Join to work as around. Set the stitch marker to indicate the beginning of the rnd. Begin to foll chart from the Row 1 to 15 repeating motif 8 times every rnd. Change bigger needles and cont chart Rows 16-63. Change the dpn when necessary. After Row 63 (32 sts remain) break the yarn leaving $8\"/$ $20\;c\mathrm{m}$ tail. Using tapestry needle, thread remaining 32 sts with yarn tail, pull tightly to close the top. Weave in all the ends. Block and enjoy.
