Thatawkward moment when you've settled in with your popcorn and your beverage to watch that new summer blockbuster and you realize that the air conditioning at the theater is too high for a sweater and too low for that sundress you're wearing. Arm warmers to the rescue, giving you that just-right Goldilocks experience. These gloves were made with a cotton/merino blend, but any lightweight cotton blend would work well. Size: One size fits most. Right and left arm warmers are worked the same. Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fine (80% cotton, 20% merino wool 220 yards /50 g skein. Needles: one set of double-pointed needles (dpns) in US 3 or size needed to obtain gauge. Notions: tapestry needle Gauge: 28.0 stitches = 4 inches CO 46 sts. Distribute across three needles (16, 15, 15) and join in round. Rows 1-8: knit in round. Row 9: k7, yo, k2tog, k to end. Row 10 and every even row: knit in round. Row 11: k6, yo, k2tog, k1, yo, k2 tog, k to end. Row 13: k5, yo, k2tog, k3, yo, k2tog, k to end. Row 15: k4, yo, k2tog, k5, yo, k2tog, k to end. Row 17: k3, yo, k2tog, k7, yo, k2tog, k to end. Row 19: k2, yo, k2tog, k9, yo, k2tog, k to end. Rows 20-25: knit in round. Repeat rows 9-25 two more times (three total) and on the last row (row 20), increase 7 sts evenly (arm warmer should be approximately 7" in length). Continue pattern beginning again with row 9, starting the fourth repeat of the sequence. On row 12, increase 6 sts evenly outside of the pattern area.

Knit 8 rounds. BO loosely. Weave in ends. Continue knitting until five repeats of rows 9- 25 have been completed.
