UsingH orI hook -Chain 2 Row1: 6sc in second ch from hook,mark the first sc you made with a stitchmarker (I use a safety pin) so you don't lose your place as you work in circles Row 2: in first sc made on first round 2 sc (increase); ine in each sc around (i2 sc) Row 3: inc in first sc on second round,sc;inc,sc around (18 sc) Row 4: inc in first sc on third round, sc, sc;inc,sc, sc around (24 sc) Row 5-6: sc in each sc Row7:inc infirst sc,sc,sc,sc;inc,sc,sc,scaround (3os) Row S: sc in each sc around lowg:incinfirst sconthrond,sc,sc,sc,sc;in,sc,sc,sc,scaround (36sc Rows 1o-2o: sc in each sc around.Do not finish off -Cut yellow felt into a small triangle about at the bottom cormers. -Cut scrap fabric into a small oval that willfit into the center ofyour owl's body nicely. Note: Lay owl flat making sure that your first single chain is at the upper right of your owl, this is the front of your owl. You will need to create the ow's horns as you close so you want to make sure your eyes are in the correct spot. -Sew the scrap fabric onto the front of the owl taking care not to put the needle all the way through the owl You will need to stuffit later (You may also use fabricglue) -Sew the yellow felt triangle upside down to the top ofyour fabric oval to create a beak. (You may also use fabricglue) -Sew 2 buttons (they do not have to match) to each side of the beak. You now have the bodyandthe eyesof your owl. -Stuff owl withpolyfl or cotton fill.
