Embossed Bell Motif stitch detail

Pattern
Cast-on 66 (86) sts. using 5.0 mm. (Us 8) needles and knit following the instructions for theEmbossedBell Motifstitch Change to 5.5 mm. (Us 9) needles and knit in 2 x 2 Ribbing. Increase 1 st. at the beginning and at the end of the first row. (knit the first row from the ribbing pattern as follow: 1 border st., M1, k1, p2., k2., .....finish the first row with k1, M1, 1 border st.) Work 8 rows in 2 x 2 Ribbing. Break the yarn. With 6.0 mm. (Us 10) needles cast-on and knit according to the instructions for the Welted Flounce stitch. \* To attach the Welted Flounce border to the main section, on RS knit until 1 st. before the edge, slip the next stitch knitwise, knit the first stitch on your left needle (this is a stitch from your main section), pass the knitted stitch over the slipped stitch), turn (you just did a sl1, k1, psso). Onwsknit according to thepattern. Repeat these instructions until all stitches from the main section (left needle) are attached to the Welted Flounce edge. For S/M size repeat the pattern 4 times For L/XL size repeat the pattern 5 times. Cast-off remaining stitches.
Finishing
With right side facing you and a crochet hook, work 1 row of single crochet and 1 row of reverse single crochet, as follows: On the left side of the collar: start on the first stitch of the Embossed Bell Motif and work until the end of the 2 x 2 Ribbing. Bind-off Sew in the 3 buttons. On the right side of the collar: start the single crochet row on the first stitch of the 2 x 2 ribbing, and work until the end of the Embossed Bell motif. Create 3 buttonholes while you work 1 row of reverse single crochet. Bind-off.
